Description:

Martin/Martin is seeking an experienced Senior Structural Project Manager to join their Aviation team in Lakewood, Colorado. The role involves working on high-profile national aviation projects, including international terminals, regional airports, aircraft hangars, and training facilities. The ideal candidate will bring leadership, coordination, and advanced technical expertise to manage complex structural engineering projects, overseeing budgets, design, and construction phases.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage engineering and technician staff to deliver project outcomes.
  • Coordinate structural design scope internally and with external consultants.
  • Develop, monitor, and control project work plans, schedules, and design budgets.
  • Serve as the main client and contractor liaison throughout design and construction.
  • Create and implement project-specific QA/QC plans.
  • Mentor and support less-experienced staff in professional development.
  • Participate in project and client meetings.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (ABET-accredited program)
  • Minimum 9 years of progressive engineering experience
  • Proven leadership and project management capabilities

Preferred:

  • Experience managing projects from concept to construction completion
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Advanced organizational and client management abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle confidential information
